Director of Youth Ministries
Alison (Ali) Friend

Ali became the Director of Youth Ministries in April of 2026. She grew up attending Christian Faith Fellowship and in 2023, took part in the church's Summer Intern Program.

Ali studied at Nazareth University in Rochester to earn a B.A. in English, as well as a M.S. in Education, specializing in students with Multiple or Severe Disabilities. She is a NYS certified educator and an English teacher at Elmira High School, with multiple years of experience teaching in the Rochester area, as well as in the Horseheads and Elmira Heights Schools.

 

At Nazareth, Ali was the coordinator for the Christian ministry, working as the graduate assistant for the Center for Spirituality during her final year of school, which prompted her interest in pursuing youth and young adult ministry. She is passionate about this community and spreading the joy of the Lord!
